Pour over

  1. Set up your scale and place your pour over brewer on it. Tare (reset) the scale to zero.
  2. Add coffee grounds to the filter. This is your coffee weight baseline.
  3. Grind your beans to a medium consistency, like sand.
  4. Heat water to 195–205°F (90–96°C).
  5. Add grounds to the filter and pour a small amount of water to "bloom" for 30–45 seconds.
  6. Pour slowly in circular motions while watching the scale. Aim to reach 350g total weight (grounds + water) on your scale.
  7. Complete your brew over 3–4 minutes total, pouring steadily to maintain the water level.
  8. Enjoy your fresh cup immediately for best flavor.
