Pour over
- Set up your scale and place your pour over brewer on it. Tare (reset) the scale to zero.
- Add coffee grounds to the filter. This is your coffee weight baseline.
- Grind your beans to a medium consistency, like sand.
- Heat water to 195–205°F (90–96°C).
- Add grounds to the filter and pour a small amount of water to "bloom" for 30–45 seconds.
- Pour slowly in circular motions while watching the scale. Aim to reach 350g total weight (grounds + water) on your scale.
- Complete your brew over 3–4 minutes total, pouring steadily to maintain the water level.
- Enjoy your fresh cup immediately for best flavor.
