Sourced from small, independent farmers in the Sidama region of southern Ethiopia. This coffee is known for its bright and fruity flavors, with notes of blueberries, strawberries, and chocolate. It’s the perfect choice for coffee lovers who appreciate a light, aromatic coffee with a clean, crisp finish.

About Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union:

Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (SCFCU) was founded in 2001 to represent coffee producing cooperatives located throughout the Sidama Zone of southern Ethiopia both locally and in international markets. In 2003, SCFCU was certified by FLO Fair Trade. Today, SCFCU has grown to represent 53 cooperatives and more than 80,000 small-scale farmer families providing financial, marketing and technical services to its members.

Unique!

This single origin from Ethiopia is amazing! I've never had the experience of berry notes in coffee until I tried this one. I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but instantly fell in love with its unique taste because of its simplicity and fresh character. Learning the nuances of coffee is now a new hobby for me and Desert Sun is hands down my go-to for the best cup. I used to think I liked a "complex" and bold coffee, but that's no longer the case. Whether it's the altitude of Durango or the knowledge these guys have for coffee I don't know, but they're on to something and their coffees are delicious!

I love this coffee. It is the perfect balance of light and bold. My go-to morning cup of coffee! Delicious when brewed in the pour-over method.

Excellent Ethiopian

This coffee is my all time favorite. Very bright and sweet with plenty of berry notes. Great for the coffee aficionado wanting to try an excellent Ethiopian coffee!
