Dark Canyon French Roast

I am not a coffee snob but I do like the dark roast type. I have always bought what was cheap. I recently bought a whole bean Sam's Club French Roast. When I went to drink a cup in the morning, I thought this was nothing more than dark brown water. So I did a Google search for coffee reviews. Desert Sun popped up so I ordered a bag. Just today, I thought I'd do a test. I made a cup (in identical cups) of Sam's and a cup of Desert Sun. I wrote on the bottom of each cup the brand. I then closed my eyes and shuffled the cups around had a sip of each. And Lo and behold, one of the cups tasted better than the other. I opened my eyes, poured out the coffee and looked on the bottom---Desert Sun!

I recently bought a new coffee machine and since I like to drink lattes, dark roast blends are a must so you have more flavor when you add the milk. Dark Canyon has no bitterness or acidic taste (don't like acidic coffee or wine), it has great body and aroma and it's organic! I just with that Desert Sun would specify on the package what varieties of coffee grains and where are they from. Other than that, I am a happy customer and will buy more!

Robust taste without being bitter.

I bought some of this while visiting Palisade and fell in love with it! Now I'm hooked! This will be my go-to dark-roast coffee from now on. Thank you Desert Sun!
